Vacation begins.

On Wednesday, a 10 year journey reached its destination. I’m happy, sad, relieved, grateful, and committed with the implications. But mostly, I’m excited about the next 10 years and the new challenges we’ll face together as a family. 🇺🇸

These two…

A few seconds of us on a Saturday

First non-supermarket coffee of the isolation. Not sure about the grind size yet, need to dial it in a bit. But first taste was good enough.

In preparation for Wednesday, we watched the whole Apollo 11 Documentary. My heart melted with Robie’s excitement and interest.

Preparing for the new normal.

Nespresso capsules were giving me a headache. Going back to basics.

Corona has affected my artesanal coffee vibe and reduced me to a push button caffeine pragmatist.

End to a very long week. No complaints though.

🚲 We went from “Abu don’t let go!” to “get out of the way!!!”. Great day.

🎬 Loved Rise of SkyWalker.

One small step for Bettina taking a pic, one giant leap for my camera app.

My girls ❤️.

When you’re a fake handyman, just use longer screws to fix things Let the wall deal with your ineptitude.

When they call you out for being a fake barista…

🎧 Really enjoying my wired SteelSeries Arctis 1 for work. Super confortable, good enough sound, and the mic is excellent for calls on a noisy office environment.

No trailer for me, but this is a great movie poster.

Practicing foam for when we have full house over the holidays.

goddammit Catalina.

Robie representing Venezuela at his school’s UN Day.

First cold brew batch of the (rainy) season.

Further down the Wyze ecosystem rabbit hole.

I’m going to miss the dry season.

Another delicious Blue Bottle Macchiato. It was too cold for my father in law, but perfect temp for me.

This was a damn good macchiato.

SJO → ATL → DCA.

Worked from home and this hipster borrowed my glasses. Of course he rocks them much more than me.

Robie, Bettina

Highlight of the day, two smiling faces when being picked up from the kinder.
