Good Presentation

Had a presentation go (really?) well today. Followed a mashup of recommendations:

• Practiced my start and ending
• After start, I told them the 3 things that were important about the presentation.
• Went into each of them in a conversational tone. They’re things I know well enough.
• Reminded of the 3 things.
• Came back and tied to the practiced ending.

The original presentation time was 45 minutes. Delays made it so that I had 15min. Maybe they were happy because I finished on time – more than likely – but I did get a few kudos. And I’m happy to have represented a project that many are putting a lot of effort into.
