Like that Keychron is making the M1 Ultra-Light Optical Mouse. This one is not for me, but looking forward to the wireless version.
Gave up on buying Spanish ebooks for before stories on El Corte Ingles / Tagus books - the experience is so bad they don’t even deserve a shame link. Luckily found ArgentinaBooks, which seems to have a similar library.
Even better, LibrosPatagonia in Chile has ebooks from the Ekaré editorial, so I’ll probably try it soon. Also in my list is MakeMake from Colombia, touting some sort of subscription with high quality books.
I’m buying these the horrible Adobe DRM, but using Calibre to set them free.
Curious about Sarah Jean Anderson winning recipe on the 2015 World Brewers Cup. Kinda like a deconstructed no-press French press recipe. This polished immersion brewing recipe is close to what I’m going to play with.
Waiting for the iVisor AG Anti-glare Screen Protector for the iPad mini 6. Luckily it seems to be coming soon.
Went down a Stainless Steel Carafe rabbit hole with the Ratio Six Thermal Carafe. However, I might end up with the Zojirushi SH-HC10BM. Or with neither — and just serve the coffee faster.

Seems like December will be a good time to get my iPad mini 6. It’s when my screen cover of choice will be available.
I need to staple Nicholas Bate’s Writing Primer 14 to my forehead.
Subscribed for a year of Simplify Gmail by Michael Leggett — absolutely worth it just for allowing me to use ESC
to drill out of messages. The clean and consisted UX for Gmail is just icing on the cake.
On a similar note, Ted Lasso’s S02 Christmas episode could be prescription medicine whenever you’re feeling shitty. I can just imagine Jason Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence deciding they were going to create a feel-good episode, never mind the critics.
Really liked CODA. Recommended.

Extremely useful tip if you’re working with large spreadsheets.
Views of Coronado, Costa Rica.
Replaced SelfControl with Freedom to help me with better deep work sessions. It’s working great. Absolute surprise is nudge towards reading by blocking social and news sites on iPad in the evening.
The worst part of my job involves dealing with Excel as the last mile of data manipulation — instead of the many (comparatively) elegant sources for the data.
Great rainforest weekend.
You could argue “it’s not the right time” given the pandemic and extreme weather of almost any activity: making a movie that inspires, going to the olympics to break a world record or fighting a dictatorship.
I applaud any team that manages to propel humans to space the same way others celebrate a team hitting a ball into a net. Both are equally driven by passion and capitalist gains.
Almost ordered a new iMac after playing with it on a store. The screen is beautiful and the design has grown on me. Glad this US trip is almost over, will make it easier to wait for whatever iMac Pro(ish) is coming.
Family pit stop at Mistral Coffee. It was great.
Pledged for The Slow System by Craighton Berman. Love the design, but specially like the no press french press top.
