Back to Arc with MarkMarks (Ack, Ack)
Switched back to Arc from Helium. In part because my simplification of window management plays better with Arc’s tab management versus Helium’s classic browser use.
But even more importantly, I found the Raycast bookmark manager for work of my dreams: MarkMarks. Its storage is a simple markdown file, with headings as groups. Just plain brilliant. Tried to give kudos to the developer, but didn’t find him on any social network other than his GitHub and LinkedIn profiles. I’ll probably write a feature request saying thanks and still asking for Helium support.
One thing they helped me move browsers easily was my use of Velja, and my learned importance of abstracting the bookmarks from the browser. This time around I’m keeping Arc simple: just 3 spaces (2 for work and 1 personal). Let’s see how this evolves.
