Pushing the Bleeping Cursor Forward

Have about a dozen drafts staring at me. They all don’t export my thoughts quite right yet. I get frustrated. It takes me a while – months sometimes, but then I remember: is not about saying something. It’s about writing. Sounding it out through keyboard presses. Pushing the blinking cursor forward is the objective. The letter trail actually saying something is a byproduct. Quantity is quality. The resulting wake of floating words and sentences have a better chance of saying something good the more I practice the push-right.

I’ll forget again. But I’ll do the exercise right for the next few days.
